Ingredients
- For Brownies Portion
Chocolate chips | 12 ounces
Unsalted butter | 6 tablespoons
Granulated sugar | ¾ cup
Eggs | 3
vanilla extract | 1 teaspoon
Unsweetened cocoa powder | ¼ cup
Cornstarch | ⅓ cup
Salt | ½ teaspoon
- For Cheesecake Portion
Cream cheese | 8 ounces
Granulated sugar | 1/2 cup
Egg | 1
vanilla extract | ½ teaspoon
Directions
- You prepare brownie and cheesecake batter in separate bowls.
- For the brownie, take a mixing bowl and pour butter and chocolate chips in. Microwave them for 30 seconds and stir. Then microwave them for 20 seconds and stir. Repeat the process until you get a smooth and melted texture.
- Add vanilla extract and sugar to the melted chocolate and stir thoroughly.
- Pour eggs one by one into the bowl with consistent stirring.
- Mix dry ingredients like cocoa powder, salt, and cornstarch in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the batter and stir continuously to avoid lumps until it reaches a smooth texture. Add mini chocolate chips (optional).
- The batter is ready to pour into the 9-inch baking pan. Grease the pan with oil and place a parchment paper.
- Set one-third of the batter aside and pour the other two-thirds into the pan. Tap the pan to remove air bubbles and smooth the surface.
- For the cheesecake portion, whip the cream cheese with an electronic or hand mixer until fluffy.
- Add sugar and beat it further.
- Add vanilla extract and egg and turn on the mixer until smooth. The batter is ready to pour over the brownie batter in the pan. After that, add the remaining brownie batter (that you kept aside) with a spoon.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Place the pan on the center rack and bake for 30 to 40 minutes. Use a toothpick to test the cake. If the toothpick comes out clean, the pan is ready to remove. Otherwise, bake for 5 to 10 minutes more.
- Let it cool at room temperature and enjoy cheesecake brownies with chocolate syrup.
